Jupiter + Ganymede shadow - 25th Jan

Brief thunder storm gave way to clear skies tonight and I've finally got a Jupiter image I'm happy with.

5000 frames captured on my C8 at native focal length using ASI120MC. Approx 2000 frames stacked in AS!2 after PIPP doing it's magic.

Still not getting anywhere using a Barlow despite moving over to a 2 x televue instead of 2.5x revelation so sticking with F10 for now.

Nice image Al!  Keep at it with the barlow, it will make quite a difference.

I missed the transit, didn't notice that it was clear until about 8pm, but it was quite breezy so I gave it a miss!!
