I've heard it in my life, I've heard it here on the forums and I believe it myself - that you get what you pay for:

HOWEVER, these interest me anyway :S

I see little to nothing on these. Must be because they are "new"

Re-labeled garbage? perhaps worthwhile?

Various brands supply UHC filters for similar prices (or just above). I have a fairly cheap APM-branded one, which is fine. I might replace it by a better one at some time, because I do seem to see a very slight deterioration of star images with the filter, but it has provided me with loads of nice views
