Hello there and a warm welcome. I haven`t posted for ages so it`s thanks to you for getting me off my fat posterior. Have just spent the last 2.5 hours on the phone to a friend who is getting into the hobby a bit more. Most of the time was spent discussing what he wanted to do, what he would do it with and where he would get it; also about this forum - the best theoretical help and learn from the experience of others until he is in a position to learn from his own mistakes; also the advantages and pitfalls of buying used gear from e-bay and anywhere else. So welcome to the world of scratching (your head), picking (other folks` brains), raiding (your bank account) and being plain nice (to your other half).
