Celestron Astromaster 130EQ to Skywatcher Skyliner-200p

Recommended Posts

Hi, I currently own a Celestron Astromaster 130EQ, I've had it for half a year. But now I feel like I want to upgrade to a much bigger telescope (The skywatcher Skyline), only I'm not sure if it's the right way to go or not. I would really appreciate any insight, if you think I should then would you choose a skywatcher skyline 200p or 150p?

Many Thanks

When upgrading, most folk go 'up two' for best effect, 130 --> 200 --> 300; or 150 --> 250 --> 350/400. The differences seem to get smaller as you go up. 130 --> 200 is a great step to take :)
