The views I have just had have been fantastic (bearing in mind I am new to this ).Stepping back from the eyepiece fractionally the two belts were very clear even with the moonshine ! I have not seen the GRS yet but after tonight it will not be far away before I tick that one off. I had a 10 mm EP with a 2x barlow. Just let it drift through the FOV and sort of just glanced at it. Magnificent.... :grin:

Nice one :)

You don't have to worry about any kind of light pollution when you are looking at the planets, its just the faint DSO's that suffer.

I think you'll struggle seeing the GRS tonight with the cloud cover coming in but yeah thats another great sight.

What Barlow and EP have u got?? And what scope are you using??
