Imagining scale on the moon?

Hi all!

Struggling with scale on the moon. I was looking a Huygens sword last night and it's 125 miles approx so 2 hours drive give or take or me to Oxford which I have driven a fair few times.

Are there any sites/ apps that allow you to play around with scaling the moon.

Try the "Virtual Moon Atlas" ... http://sourceforge.net/projects/virtualmoon/

It has a similar scale tool to Google Earth for measuring distances and a whole lot more besides , highly recommend it .

I use this a bit. Just scroll over a crater and it gives you the size.
