Putting together a cheap dew power controller..

Hi,

I'm putting together a cheap dew heater controller with parts from Maplin. 

Here is the essential component:

only £16!

I'm using it to heat a Astrozap and that measures 16 ohms. the maplin PWM is 3 amp so should be able to drive it easily.

Il let you know how it comes along - will probably need a box and connectors. I may post some photos of the completed unit too!

Interesting, that you may get spikes back. I may run mine off a separate battery...
