Hi guys,

As always, the Rosette Nebula proves to be an excellent trial field for new equipment. This time, the combination between the Officina Stellare Veloce RH 200 and DDM60 Pro.

Here are 7 UNGUIDED frames, of 15 minutes each, taken over one night, two weeks ago. I am bringing the full-res image, which has reached a roundness level which I have never experienced in the past (Roundness 0.016 FWHM 2.751). I highly recommend taking a look at the central cluster...

Any comments / questions are, as always, very welcome.

Cheers,

Harel

Very clean indeed, Harel. Both the scope and the mount have managed to defeat quite a few owners in the early stages but you've clearly got them both to sing sweetly. To go as deep as this in less than 2 hours is quite something.

I know that neither of these bits of kit is for me but when someone who's up for them gets to grips with them there is nothing more to be said. They can really work.
