Double Cluster in Perseus

The Double Cluster in Perseus, NGC869 & NGC884:

5 x 300s with darks, flats & bias.

I like this, but I do wonder if star colour is as good as it could be... Is it me or is there a bit of a blueish tinge to the 'white' stars? Are they actually a bit blueish in reality anyway?!

They are blue/white super giants.......

Here is one of mine they are bluish.

Evidently the clusters are blue shifted as well.

Excellent, that's very interesting and good to know that it's not just my dodgy processing!

On another note - why is your picture so much bigger in the post than mine? Is there a control somewhere for the size of the image? My uploaded image is quite big.

Mine is hosted outside SGL in my own webspace, it's resized and cropped out of a widerfield, size 800 wide.

Not an expert on processing yet, don't even know if mine is right, I just go with what I like.

Interesting about external hosting, maybe that's the answer.

Well, we have concurring images, so it must be right!!!
