Celestron Astromaster 130 EQ Collimation Questions

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'd like to know what screws i need to undo to remove my primary mirror to place a centre spot on it (it's the above telescope) Also will it just "fall" out or will it unscrew slowly? Any advice to help prevent me from breaking my Primary. Any advise on how to create a centre spot or which design you feel works best, if any.

Thanks, Josh.

There are 3 black screws located in the same place as the collimation adjustment screws. Undo those 3 and the primary mirror will fall out if you let it, so be careful. The primary mirror and it's holder will all come out as one piece.

I hope that's of some help.
