First time out in a LONG time!

Well looked outside last night and thought what a lovely sky it was, no work in the morning and no need to get up early. So for the first time in well over a year (maybe two) I actually managed to get the scope out!

Lovely 45 minutes observing Jupiter and about 10 minutes on Orion Nebula before the clouds started rolling in. Made me remember why I started this hobby :-)

Excellent. I caught a clear 5 mins a few days ago, but the clouds rolled in before I could get the scope out. This weather has to let up soon . . .

I did a real double take when I looked outside last night and it was clear - the wind had even dropped      Lovely to get out again, it feels like months since I looked up.

Ditto,first time out in a month,got 3 hours in so I'm ok for the month now
