martin_h
Anyone use this stacking software? I had a quick play with it last night and it seems to do the job, reasonably fast too, It registerd, calibrated and stacked 6 subs in just over 60 seconds.Might be worth a look................... http://www.andreasroerig.de/regim/regim_e.htm
martin_h
I can add, after further playing, it will plate solve, colour calibrate using plate solving to find B-V stars in you image and calibrating to suit. It also removes gradients using a process that looks much like Pixinsights DBE tool.
davew
Looks interesting Martin. Not tried it yet but as I've tried just about everything else at some time, I'll give it a go over the next few days.If it can operate a DBE like tool and colour calibrate then it could jump to the top of the class on the freebies. If you've tried it, what catalogue does it use for the plate solve ?Dave. martin_h
It uses Simbad for its lookup.
