What do YOU want imaged tonight?

It's been cloudless all day in SW London and looks good for the early evening - it'll be dark enough to image from ~ 5.30PM.  I'll be using my 30cm SCT + Lodestar camera in brief exposure that get down to ~mag 16/17 stars.

Is there a DSO you want imaged tonight - a galaxy, starcluster, planetary, nebula, quasar etc?    It must be small eg <30' across [<full moon diam] and accessible from my suburban skyline - I sort that one !

Please make your requests here [Messier/ NGC etc number] and I'll see what I can do :police:

Nice - always loved that one.. it's odd.. the centre of the galaxy is the bright spot on the top ring. As you look down the middle leg, the two bright dots are - from what we can tell - stars but it looks all part of the same thing (although it may not be).

It will be interesting to see if NASA's new star mapper will shed some light on this area.
