Strathspey Giant 100mm 45 degree binoculars

I had a pair of these, optically very good but very heavy and not great above about 60 degrees with the supplied wooden tripod.

If you look on Big Binoculars you'll see some heavy duty crankable tripods which are more practical or a heavy duty p-mount.

APM do a similar model but lighter.

A 90 degree is an option but due to the prism housing most are aperture stopped down to between 80-90 for a 100 degree objective.

The views through the Strathspeys are great, colourful and bright.
