Impressive prom alert!

Get your h-a solar scope out if you can! Beautiful large prom on what I think the learned folk call the western limb. A bit like a tree or fountain. Gotta rush back to the eyepiece!

First read of the subject and I wondered what difference in approach had made this alert more impressive then anyother alert. Then it clicked you meant an alert for an impressive prom.

Think I need more sleep or more coffee.

That prom was fantastic yesterday lunchtime. I estimated the structure was covering about 10 degrees of arc which makes it about 120,000km across!

The other half said when she looked it looked like a goblin peeping over the horizon ... is that correct solar terminology?
