What focal length was that taken with? Is that 10" RCT a 10" Ritchey-Chretien (please excuse my ignorance, just interested)

Both images were shot on my WO 98 FLT with the Riccardo 0.75 Reducer Flattener. Which gives a focal length of 463mm. Nice wide field of view and a fast F ratio.

My 10" Ritchey-Chretien stayed at home this time.

Glad you liked it. I love both of them.

I came down to Les Granges to find out if my new Atik 4000  and Riccardi worked. I would say they do!

The system's working nicely now. Very careful attention to chip distance is the thing.

The Rosette had only half an hour per channel RGB but has produced a remarkably good colour signal from that. The Ha was a stonker.

Well that turned out really well! Apparently, the reducer works very well with the good old 98!

My Riccardi has arrived but I am away from home right now so it will be until the weekend before I get to look at it and the new 102.
