New DSO target?

Recommended Posts

Guys,

I'm open to suggestions for my next DSLR DSO target. Recently done M33, M74 and C13.

My Canon 450D is unmodded but I'm guiding up to 10min depending on wind. It's the 130pds.

I'm thinking M1 or NGC2403. Any ideas?

I have actually never done M31 but I don't know - it's somehow been done to death...

Most of these DSO have been done to death but not with your take on it. I thought that of the Pleiades and yet received quite some response on how it stood out. Some people just run down Messier's list in order maybe try that.

I thought that photographing M31 was an astrophotograhy right of passage, along with Pleiades and the Orion nebula.

I am sure I have read it in a rulebook somewhere that you have to do all 3 of them before you can call yourself and astrophotograher ;)
