Orion SkyQuest XT10g GoTo VS Skywatch Skyline 250 syncscan goto

Hi guys 

I got my money ready and my partner talked to death about this "goddam telescope" she says. But I am in a quandary to buy the Orion Skyquest or the Skywatcher skyliner.

anyone got these telescopes? can you give me some input?

Also to power these telescope could you just run it off a car battery jump starter with a cigarette socket?

I don't know how the GOTO's compare but the optics of these scopes are the same, made by the same manufacturer.
