Olly,  I agree.  

I notice in your signature list you have a TEC140.   The gent that just sold me the mount and pier had just recently sold his TEC140... and in talking with him today at his house about that scope, I saw the hurt in his eyes that he parted with it.   He loved that refractor.

I'm not surprised. The TEC is superb, both optically and mechanically, and comes in at a price way below Takahashi.

So, here it is on the Astro Physics AP900 mount, on the PWT Pinnacle portable pier.   I've been working on getting the guide camera, PHD & mount.... and DSLR, all working nicely together on the laptop with the capture software.
