QHY5 Finderscope

Hi guys

I dont know if this is any use to anyone but ive done it so......

I had a 1.25" Baader Neo filter that i never use becuase i don't do visual anymore & i also use a QHY5 coupled with a 9x50 Finderscope.

I found that the CCD lens would get very dirty and so today i VERY carefully cleaned it using lens paper, before i put it all back i saw the LP filter staring at me in the face and Mark (Astrognome) pointed out to me in 6PH that the QHY5 has 1.25" thread inside the camera so i cleaned the LP filter and screwed it into the CCD and bobs youre uncle i have a solution to the dust getting to my lens & now the guiding is LP filtered.

Screwed the camera back onto the finderscope and fired it all up, deffo looks like a darker FOV through PHD so maybe even a few more guide stars to use. At least the LP filter is doing something now
