Mercury with binoculars

Out at 6.45..nice clear sky.

Just using binoculars this morning.

Lovely full moon starting to set. Jupiter riding high with its moons..

Lovely graded blue sky from pale blue to the east through dark blue overhead and almost black to the west.

Now to the east. Spica standing out but no comets..I am too late..

But wait ...what's that bright star low down???

I know..Mercury..lovely and bright..much clearer than the last time I tried in the evening. Great end to a brief sky scanning session.

Now must try that nearly naked eye sunspot through the solar filter when the sun rises!
