Canon IS bins - service/adjustment?

I've had my Canon IS bins for a while now (about 10 years?). I sometimes get the feeling that they are no longer at their best optically. Do they go out of 'alignment' and therefore benefit from adjustment? There doesn't seem to be any readily accessible adjustable bits so can they be done professionally and is this likely to yield an improvement?

Any experiences would be useful

Hi Kerry, have borrowed some Canon IS bins, and was very impressed............

Maybe try here for repair advice ?     http://www.canon.co.uk/Support/Consumer_Products/product_ranges/binoculars/index.aspx

Apart from trying new batteries, or carefully cleaning the contacts, I'd be very wary of opening them up myself.

Hope you sort it, Ed.
