Can you filter moonlight?

If you're a DSO observer you'll find the moon some kind of a nuisance - this is why I don't really go out until it has set. Can you still filter moon glow using OIII or UHC filters? I'm asking because I never experimented with that before...moon out I'm in...moon set I'm out...

Using a narrow-band filter like O-III or UHC helps on emission nebulae, but on nothing else. Moonlight is reflected solar continuum after all.

Yes.

Works best on relatively high-surface brightness targets, such as (many) planetary nebulae.
