LP Filter for canon p60d for wide field AP

A mate of mine is looking for a filter for his canon dslr. Initially for wide field shots, he needs something to block out LP.

What can you suggest ?

Would the astronomik clip filters do the job, and which one ?

It would do the job, but my experience with the eos clip filter (cls) is it cuts out lots of light from the target objects too, but i suspect if you had a better camera it may have less impact.

There was one on abs recently.
