Solar Sketch - 27th October

Clouds broke this morning and despite the strong breeae I managed to get out for a look. Usually at this time of year best I can manage is a few minutes and that generally means get the camera out and grab some frames quick but today there was an extended period of clarity allowing me to sketch as well as image (will process and post the image later when I get the kids off the computer). For now here is a scan of the sketch I made.

Outstanding work here, David and thank you for sharing this with us! It's also great to see you sketching. I swear on better days the eye catches more than the camera images It's a shame with the wind. I hate it when it blows and usually set up in the study room, if only to stop the scope from shaking. Amazing work!
