advice on sun projection needed please

hi all, i am thinking of looking at the sun. would this be ok with the equiptment i have in my sig?

i am looking at projection of the sun but dont want to damage my e.p e.t.c any advice welcome thanks in advance Tim

Hi, I have merged these topics, as they are essentially the same. EP projection is fine with a slow scope as long as your EP has no kitted lenses (Ramsden or Huygens are OK) and neither focuser nor EP contain plastic parts (they melt). A much simpler and better method is using Baader solar film. Cheap and effective. An alternative (much more expensive) is a Herschel wedge.
