200p quickie

It's 'flocking' time for me shortly. I'm wondering whether to bolt the Telrad base to the OTA whilst I'm at it. Any strong views one way or another?

I have just had my 150p flocked by no other than the famous Moonshane he will like that Lol which he did a fantastic job which was most appreciated and showed me how to adjust my spider vanes if needed, now back to your question i have mine stuck on and still do i think a lot of people do the same if your happy with the position of the Telrad i dont see any reason why you cannot bolt it down why you have your scope stripped.

Yes, that's what I was thinking. I've had it cable tied in place for the last 9 months and can't think of anywhere better to put it

Make sure you put a washer either side as not to distort the OTA.
