The Garnet star

I'm still learning the art of AP and thought the garnet star look nice enough to try imaging last night.  It had loads of colour through the eyepiece.  I used 16x30sec lights, 10 darks, flats and bias, following advice in 'making every photon count'.  Stacked in DSS and used GIMP2 to finish.  Any tips to improve would be appreciated, thanks for looking :)

Very nicely done Damien,

I think you have captured the Star very well,

The colour of the star looks spot on to me,

very natural looking, and not bloated,

Its all about experimentation, so you get to know

the limits of your equipment, and you have a wealth,

of knowledge on the wonderful site to help you along.

well done,

Paul.
