Motorising an old CG4 mount ?

Yes, The Sky-Watcher EQ3 is an exact clone of the CG4. Any accessory for the EQ3 will fit the CG4, including the single or dual axis motors. Since there is only a £20 difference between the single and dual axis motors (£80 and £100) you might as well get the dual axis drives.

Hi, I have a cg4 mount also and was toying with the idea of getting a stepper motor and Arduino to attempt my own motor drive. Does anybody know of anybody else that has done this or similar?
