HMMM...  It would help if I put my posts in the right thread :D  I apologised for any confusion I have caused.  Trouble is, I only notice AFTER the permitted editing time has expired :(

Note to self - This is the cooling and FW thread.

Anyway... back on topic :D

Hear are a couple of photos showing a little bit more progress :-

  1. Aluminium angle to attach the copper box to the ali plate that takes to optical window and filter wheel - just placed in position
  2. The copper box placed on top

Having problems with the camera at low temperatures so I'm suspending this project with the 1100D until I can get it sorted out, which will need another 1100D sensor to debayer.  Meanwhile, I'm going to use a mono 450D for which I've started a new thread (http://stargazerslounge.com/topic/196608-adding-cooling-and-filter-wheel-to-a-debayered-450d-mono-dslr/).
