Anyone using a SkyWire to control their mount via iPhone? Specifically a losmandy G11

Just wondering what the thoughts on this are. Got a dodgy hand controller an looking for ways around it without necessarily going down the PC control route.

I've got SkyFi and beyond the lack of a cable, it's much the same thing.

The main issue is that if something gets knocked by accident, or whatever, you still have to resort to the handset to do a two/three star alignment and quite literally get it all back on track. As such SkyFi/Wire does require your setup to be bang on and you do need a functioning handset to enable that.

The SF/W as such, is a compliment, not a replacement, but the family love it and it's proven quite popular with previously disinterested friends.
