Polar Scope

I recieved my Polar scope as ordered from Scopes n Skies.

Managed to get the item for £16 + £2 del... as always good service from them.

Just need to understand why the cross hair has the following setup (i.e the outer circle with a tiny circle on one of the cross hair lines :?: )

Any help please?.

Although aligning to polaris the true North is a little bit away from it hence your outer circle Rob thats were you want to place Polaris matey.

Yep... makes sense, just need to know how to place the polar scope (i.e position of the small circle) in the mount.
