thanks for the replies like the look of that 150pl philsail1 but can't find the ta100rs

hear what you are saying Mike but once bitten...and i understand the slow approach settle in but this has given me a new lease of life and just eager to move on.

I like looking at everything so i presume an all rounder would fit the bill.

Would it be an idea to have a different type i.e refractor?

You would have to spend a fair bit of money to get a refractor that will give much better views than a 5" Newt.
