Good advice from Wiliam above, would not take any invertor to 240v in the field asking for problems. Most 12v convertors of the quality end of the market will auto sense properly. Have several folk in our astro group using 12 - 20v convertors with no issues.

So only about 20 times slower than one would expect for any other piece of electrical equipment...

Thanks all - I have ordered the Kensington charger.

Just FYI - this ultrabook boots up from completely off to ready to use in about 10 seconds!

If you got one with an I5 processor, you could have cut that time by half,LOL.

Really nice choice of puter,very good specs on it.
