Eastern Veil from the city

Veil, veil, veil what have we here?

I spend some time on the Sadir region in the hope to pull out some of the nice Ha, or at least something but was left with pretty much a star...

So out of curiosity I slewed to the Veil instead to see if I could catch anything with the OSC, and I could see a trace in the Nebulosity screen stretch, so I decided to stay on it.

Astrofoto_Stefan most recently - and others - has showed us what it really looks like, but I'm nonetheless thrilled that this type of target is doable to a degree from the city. After a few bright galaxies and nebulas it's easy to run out of targets down here.

Here's the SW120ED at work again, reduced to f6.4 and I captured a total of 3 hours 44 minutes in four minute subs. No LP filter.
