Lightweight Mount

Can anyone recommend a lightweight and stable mount and head (not goto) for a 6 to 7 kg scope? Or are the two mutually exclusive? Failing that the lightest mount and head that would be suitable.

Look at a non goto EQ3 or EQ5, the EQ5 would be better and often the ones from Skywatcher can have an RA motor added later. You say you do not want goto but do you want motorised?

Also look in the second hand market.

Lightweight and stable do not always go together.
