Photoshop and noise.

I'm finding noise reduction in photoshop CS5 ext. ed. to be insufficient for my DSLR images. Is there a way to get around/improve this? Currently i'm doing all noise reduction in paint.net

Also, i'd be very interested and grateful if someone would like to share with me their own processing flow for a DSLR Raw image in photoshop. I'm sure my processing skills at present are a weak link.

Personally i use NoiseNinja plugin for PS - but it's not a free software though. I rarly use much/any noise reduction on the final picture, but i do use it a lot during processing.

There is a danger of making your images look very mottled and smeared if you go over board. It may be you just need more subs,
