Meade DSI Acc.

Just bought a Meade DSI ccd camera and a 3.3 focal reducer. Can anyone recommend any accesseries to inhance the use of this camera. I have a 8" Celestron CPC

Which version did you buy, and was it new.? Does it have the IR blocking filter in the base of the nosepiece. If you have not yet looked, be careful when you unscrew the nose, as it may fall out, and being not very big, you may lose it.

I bought a colour version of the DSI last year, but I have not used it on the sky yet, but I have a nice picture of a distant tree.

I will eventually get around to some imaging.

I have a DSI one shot colour, it's pretty good for the money. The only extra I have is a focal reducer.

It does have a ir filter and it is the one shot color DSI $299 model I got for $99...

I havent owned the DSI but would have thought something like the DSI cooling fan would be handy..
