can i use this ccd chip for astrophotogrphy?

hi i need some help, i have noticed that a security camera that i bought a while ago has a ccd in it,

i will put some pictures up and would like to know if i could utilise this equiptment in some way?

i do not have any manual or the specific specs:(

if anybody has any idears please share

Is it usb ext what connection does it have ?

it dosent have a direct conection to the actual cammera atm, it has an ariel and signal sent to a radio av receiver. the camera has a cable coming out the back for power supply

It's an "analog" monitoring camera (PAL/NTSC). Won't be useful in astrophotography. As a whole could be used as a meteor detection station.

thankyou riklaunim for replying thats a shame on the astrophoto side but will have to read into the meteor detection station idear sound good with a major shower coming up in the next few weeks, thanks for the help:) if you have anymore info on meteor station and how i would go about it that would be great
