Piggyback astrophotography

As stupid as this may sound, I just figured out that the mount on top of my scope is for my camera to do piggyback astrophotography. Lol. Anyways. Is there anything special I should know about it? Or do any of you have experience in this method?

Lol! You just need an adjustable fitting to go in it and attach to camera via tripod screw fixing so you cannpoint camera where u want!

And you need to re-balance your setup (ensuring to balance DEC in both axes).

a ball head joint mount are mount most people stick on them, you can however just use the screw and screw into the camera.
