Post processing questions

1. I am trying to process an image I’ve captured.. I am using Photoshop CS6 Whenever I try and adjust the LEVELS I the data is on the right hand side.. See image attached
   
2. When I play with the CURVES the image becomes green and reddish circulars

Not sure I understand what you mean by "the data is on the righthand side". The histo shows the data is to the left where you would expect it to be i.e. most of it is dark.

I think for your curves comment, you would need to post a pic so people can see the problem.
