Abondoned or unfinished astro projects

I recently bought a tak polar finder scope on ebay afterwards I asked advice on here. (One day i will learn to do it the other way round)The general consensus was you will never get it to fit but good luck trying. as usual the older wiser heads were right and I have come to a bit of a wall and until I can find somebody to do some fabrication for me I am stuck. Still I am the proud owner of a takahashi scope and I suppose it does qualify me to join the takahashi users group so not a complete disaster Do you have any abondoned or long term unfinished astro projects?

got a 16" mirror that needs figuring and coating been like that for a year
