Been watching Cosmos by Carl Sagan

Watched first four tonight because wife went out and I am babysitting. Wow. They have aged a bit but my goodness isn't Carl Sagan gifted In his ability to explain ideas and concepts! I watched these as a twelve year old in 1980 and was heavily influenced then. Tonight repeated his wonder. Fabulous to watch still. The mans enthusiasm ans sheer marvel at the topic shine through. the music by Vangelis also brilliant.

It was and still is a superb series. I was glued to them as a kid and thought the spaceship was the dogs danglies. I have since watched them all again on the internerd and particularly liked the parts about the Greeks. He had a very big influence on me as a teenager and I used to hope he would do another series but sadly he he never did.
