Sequential Messiers in M85, M86 and M87 are essentially featureless elliptical gxys [from assumed from gxy mergers] in Coma and Vir at 50-60 million LY range taken in a short session on May 6 in brief exposures as part of my SNe search via 30cm SCT+SX Lodestar cam - data on images plus ticked field gxys via Sloan DSS :police:
