CLS clip IR blocking or not?

this is my mates cannon 1000D and CLS filter im trying to figure out if its ir blocking or not. i have had a CLS filter before and never experienced images like this. so any help would be great .

heres 1 hour on m64 last night taken with a ed80 1000d with a cls clip filter. no this was bought 2nd hand and when capturing in BYE the red channel is always to the left and when stacked in DSS its to the left this is making me think its IR blocking, resulting in hard to process images with a slight lack of color due to the red channel being to the left. but when aligned RGB the image goes naff like its blown out 180 sec subs iso 800. i know the cls give a green tint but mine never was this bad. any help would be great

The CLS-CCD version is IR blocking, the standard CLS version is not.

Is his camera modified?

Is yours modified?

Was yours taken with a similar moon, assuming it was up?
