Saturn , latest attempt

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I did this last night about at about 1.30 am, had to wait quite a bit for the low clouds to pass but the end result is not good again. I used a 2.5X barlow with the ASI120 MC and MAK 127. I may have pushed the MAG too much but with the MAK on the AZ GoTo mount there is very little chance of getting the focus right. I think that I have to start thinking of something to aid the focusing free hand as the slightest touch sends the scope in to shivers.

Regards,

A.G

I think it's quite a decent photo, however I am only just sighting Saturn as the size of a pin head so your photo looks amazing.

Hi,

Thanks your kind comment, I won't rest untill I get a capture with real detail rather than hints of it. No chance tonight as it has been cloudy and it just started raining now.

Regards,

A.G
