I had to wait till 04.00am before the cloud decided to disappear (so much for the weather forecast....HAH) so I decided to try something that centroid and SteveL had captured and looked like an interesting object to try. I don't think I've done it as much justice as my peers but I'm satisfied with it for now.

good go at it Brian, this is not an easy one , took me a while to get a good one of that , does need a lot of exposure , not sure what exposures you gave it, but my guess would be you would need at least 5 min ones.

Hmmm . heck already 5 mins ,blimey Brian , maybe 1600 iso then , guess you will have to get more signal on that one , maybe 10 mins then eheheh ,

I found it incredibly hard to get the detail I wanted when I shot it. Was taking 900s subs @ f/7.(something) and it was still incredibly dim. Getting that level of detail with a 350D is very impressive
