1.25" - 2" adapter extender

I'd like to extend my 1.25 / 2" adapter at the back so I can use 2" filters whichever EP I am using. Currently my 1.25" eps extend 3-5mm into the area where the filter would be.

Ive looked on the interweb but can't find anything that would work. Does anybody know of anything ? A filter ring from a broken filter would probably be good enough, but I'm sure I should be able to buy such a thing....

have you checked out the various 2" extenders? Altair astro sell a 35mm, 50mm and 80mm extender for £17 for each one.

I use a 50mm extenstion on my dob and getting a 35mm for my 6". These let you screw 2" filters on the bottom of them so all your eyepieces can use the same filter without swapping filters around. does mean you need 2" filters all round though of course

I have a 35mm, but as the extension I need is only a few mm. Haven't tried the 35 ext at night yet. Might work.

Hi, I use the Baader FTR's (fine tuning rings), 14mm & 28mm for this exact purpose, they work perfectly and fit into any 1.25" - 2" convertor. Found here: http://www.firstlightoptics.com/baader-planetarium/baader-hyperion-finetuning-ring.html

I went for the 3.5mm x 30mm ones for all of £2 inc P&P for 10 rings...Ill post back how it goes
