TAIR-3 RUSSIAN CAMERA LENS

has anyone used the above lens for astrophotography? I have a 300mm 4.5 and it has been suggested that it has a flourtite element in it. I was thinking of taking this to Portugal on my forthcoming holiday to mount on the Astrotrac instead of my WO66. What are the thoughts on this Thanks

Thanks excellent pictures. Seems like the lens is a good one. I took it with me but took no astro related photos, (did not even pack astrotrac). Hope to do some imaging later in the year.

1. IMHO not enough focus to infinity.

2. Chromatic aberration pretty much.

But for its price, is a great tool for training
