Imaging Refractor ~£500

Hi everyone, just evaluating various options really.

I'm currently saving for a HEQ-5, and had in mind a good quality refractor for imaging (~£500) to save for after the mount (no rush for choosing which!), so I've looked at various options:

WO ZS 71 ED with Reducer for F/4.72: £439

Skywatcher Equinox for F/6.25: £520

Skywatcher ED80 for F/7.5 (reduced to F/6.37 with FF/FR): ~£500

Seems to me the WO ZS 71 operates the fastest, and comes out the cheapest. Would this beat the much loved ED80? Any other options to consider?

Oh, and I'll be imaging with my DSLR on the back of it

I'd go for the ED80 and reducer. Blue stars are the big test...

Isn't that the same as the Equinox, just re-branded?

Must admit I hadn't heard of blue stars on any of them. I'll go and do more research on that .
